I have over twelve years of teaching and research experience in the Higher Education sector in the United Kingdom, with a particular focus on Business, Marketing, and Digital Transformation. I am currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead for International Business and Business Analytics at Leeds Trinity University, where I lead curriculum development, student supervision, and collaboration with industry partners.

My areas of specialisation include Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, and International Business. I hold a PhD in Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Salford, where my research explored the influence of Islamic beliefs on the social media communication activities of British Muslim entrepreneurs. I am also deeply interested in how emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, are transforming marketing practice and higher education pedagogy.

Over the years, I have taught and supervised students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across several UK universities, including the University of Salford, the University of Law, and QA Higher Education. Alongside my academic work, I have delivered digital marketing workshops for SMEs through EU-funded projects, supporting their digital transformation journeys and helping them develop competitive strategies in the digital economy.

Beyond academia, I am passionate about lifelong learning, personal growth, and mentoring young professionals as they navigate the intersection of business, technology, and innovation. I take a keen interest in how digital transformation is shaping the future of industries and education, and I am driven by a desire to empower students and organisations to thrive in an ever-evolving digital world.
